Through funding and volunteering, UPS also supports the League's Incentive to Excel and Succeed program, which
seeks to change young lives by encouraging African American achievement. UPS volunteers are serving as mentors and
tutors and participating in career exploration and "job shadowing" programs.
UPS's dedication to the League and BEEP reflects our ongoing support of organizations and programs that show
a clear impact on the resolution of social problems. "Programs like BEEP show the mighty impact
of 'people power'," says Don Wofford, UPS BEEP Coordinator. "Great things can happen when people who have
something to share - be that knowledge, talent, manpower or encouragement - share it with those who need it."

UPS is the largest corporate sponsor of the National Urban League's Black Executive Exchange
Program (BEEP), which provides African-American college students with perspectives about the
world of business, broadens their career aspirations and presents positive role models from
which the students may pattern themselves. BEEP seeks to build links between industry, government and
Historically Black Colleges and Universities by harnessing the collective efforts of
high-ranking African American executives and professionals who serve as teachers, mentors and
role models to the youth in these institutions.
